Romain originally came to London to learn English and return, but that plan went out the window! He worked as a chef at a French restaurant and Fromagerie, Androuet, London before creating The Frenchie in 2013.
He has a very creative mind, loves extravagance and is funny as duck.
Our mission at the Frenchie is to produce high-quality duck confit burgers by working with the best french food suppliers to exceed our customers’ expectations in product and overall street food experience.

Fun & bold - we are a small team of bubbly Frenchies in London who enjoy life and approach every challenge with enthusiasm, energy and excitement. We like extravagance and do things that are out of the box.
Friendly service- we are friendly and try to attract our customers with our french accent (it works most of the time, as you can imagine) and love sharing moments with them. Even better when we make them laugh.
